3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours cloudy yellow/orange, two finger, quick off white head. Decent lacing and some retention. Aroma of apricots and pine. Taste is on the bitter side with sweet caramel in the background. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, resin mouth feel. Finishes lingering bitter. Tasting notes of apricot, bitter herbs, spruce, caramel, grapefruit and melon. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy bronzed golden orange with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. A good amount of white clingy and ringy lacing glazed around the sides of the glass.
The smell had a decent citrus to piney hops overcoating a delicate caramel malt.
The taste had pretty much the same with a sticky piney aftertaste leading to sticky dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and the bitterness is there but allows a decent sticky citrus to sharpen and delicately stroll across my tongue.
Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again. It definitely had a different mouthfeel, but still everything else seemed spot on.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rich, hazy deep copper and amber coloured body with a rich, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, passionfruit, pine and a good deal of malt to accompany those hops. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and resinous flavour from the hops up front with a lot of malt backbone and some subtle apricot and caster sugar sweetness near the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of earth and hops, but also some graham crackers, yeast, apples and quite a bit of floral and nutty hops. Overall, a nicely balanced East Coast (without a doubt) IPA with a lot of hop character and that rich malt backbone to show its not from the West Coast. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 01-November-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 14-February-2015.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy golden body with tint of orange. Off-white head with some lacing. Scents of tropical fruits, pepper, and pine. Taste is similar to the aroma, however, there’s an underlying maltiness present. Bitter, dry finish that wasn’t as crisp as I would’ve liked.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy orange with a half finger white head with decent lacing. Aroma is of floral hops, citrus, pine, grassy hops, and done light sweet malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma with the addition of some light tropical fruit and peach notes. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi-moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a decently tasty, slighty above average ipa.

Clear yellow orange. Definitely bitter hop flavor. Slightly burnt. Some flower flavors too.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Lilly and marigold nose, good strength. Clear amber, medium yellow head. Strong lilly, marigold, and daffodil flavor. Ash finish, once the aspirin bitterness fades off. Medium body, resinous, moderate carbonation, alcohol is noticeable. Well-hopped, but unbalanced. A bit much too much. If you’re looking for insane floral hoppiness, go nuts with this one.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a translucent copper into the glass, with a wispy head that leaves little lacing. The nose is of spruce-pine. Flavors are hop-forward, piney bitterness throughout, with a slightly underbalanced malt backbone. Orange, grapefruit, citrus zest and peel notes combine with a deeply lingering bitter pine finish that features a touch of alcohol sting. The lack of a well-balanced malt contingency lends to a "hop tea" feel, detracting from the complexity somewhat. The medium body and resinous mouthfeel really accentuate the IBU’s present. Hopheads rejoice? Yes, but with the caveat that a truly top-tier IPA would also consider the substantive balance to round the offering out a bit more.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy peach with a full rocky head in the glass. Lotsa lacing. Christmas beer from Mom. Go wegmans mixed sixer! Pulled nose of lightly hop enshrouded malts. Full body of sweet malts. Light finish of hop. Pennsylvania hippies can make some beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Golden, almost amber, mostly cloudy. Sticky but really thin head. Subtle aroma, but a decently full flavor of a good classic malt backdrop and a a metallic hop burn in the finish. (#5814, 10/12/2014)
