3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft, Deep brown body with a nitro tan head. Aroma of roasted grain, smoke, ash, coffee, chocolate with a hint of nuts. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation. Dray finish. Taste of roasted malt and coffee. The aroma is better than the flavor.

On tap at brewpub, pours a clear dark brown with a thick creamy head, the aroma is roasty with a hint of chocolate, the flavor was extremely creamy with a touch of coffee inthe finish, thin mouthfeel, really didn’t dig this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On nitro at the Saugatuck brewpub. Dark brown with ruby lowlights and a creamy slowly fading brown crown. Aroma of oatmeal, toasted malt and grains. Creamy and smooth as you’d expect with oatmeal, roasted malt and mildly bitter coffee. Average for the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
this was on tap and labeled as 3.6% abv...that being said, this was quite delicious..creamy body gives rise to a medley of roasted malt, light coffee, chocolate, and fresh nuts..slightly earthy and wonderfully drinkable

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nothing too special about this one. Just an ordinary irish, dry stout. Served on nitro tap, so very creamy head. jet black, slight chocolate taste, burnt barley taste, low hops, semi sweet, okay and would most likely have again. B.

On tap at the pub. Dark beer with a lasting foamy beige head. Nose of puffed wheat and roasted grain, all muted by the nitro. Some burnt grain, coffee grounds, and bitter chocolate in the finish. A quaffable stout.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the brewery. Dark brown almost opaque black with creamy (nitro?) beige head. Smokey, roast, dry. Sweet, chocolate, light roast, fruity, english style. Watery, light. Very much an English style stout but uninteresting overall.
