Bottle. Very good brown. Medium body, lots of malt / nut flavors, smooth -- not over carbonated. Strong recommendation.

Very nice brown. Incredibly flavorful. One of the better browns I’ve had definitely.

Bottle. Pours deep amber with a creamy beige head. The aroma is chocolate, caramel, light smoke and high malt. Light sourish malty flavor with notes of nuts, toasted malts, light chocolate and some coffee.

Pours and Amber/brown color. Not much in the way of aroma but very good flavor - some malt, nuts, and subtle smoke.

Good nose to start, color classic brown, and not much head, but that’s common in brown ales. The worst thing I could call a beer is "Simple" and this is NOT a simple beer. Boy! There’s a lot going on in that beer! Taste is roasty and complex, changing from beginning to end and side to side on my tongue. The second sip is just as complex.

pours hazy if not cloudy medium dark brown, orange tint, with an abnormal and dirty frothy off-white head, very good retention and strong lacing. sweet nutty and fruity maltiness, some sweetness - maple syrup, spicy molasses, woodsiness - sweet barrel notes, piney hints along with grass and pepper, unfortunately some minerals - carbonic acid and metal. lively and foamingly disturbing carbonation, light body, sweetish grassy-spicy-woodsy finish. even w/o this obvious bottling issue, this is maybe just a step above your average brown ale.

THANKS! More than half of a 355 ml. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark brown, tanned bubbles. Meaty smoke, gravy with sweet wood, wet wood sweetness. Sweet smoke / gravy taste, sweet wood, bacon, heavy brown sugar sweetness, branches, dates,… Chewy body. Simple, bit unbalanced, touch to sweet but a very fun beer to drink for the rauchbier lover in me.

Very nice color and carb with roasted notes evident in aroma. Taste rich with a bit of smokiness. Mouthfeel very nice. A very enjoyable example of an American Brown Ale

Had at their taproom in Douglas. Pours a light brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is of sweet caramel. Flavor follows with maltiness and sweetness. Didn’t notice any smoke at all. Decent beer.
