At the Brewery tap house. Pretty decent IPA. Strange that I wasn’t picking up the rye as much as I have in other rye beers but it could have been the strength of the hops. Serving: Tap

Hazy deep orange - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Spicy rye malts, very rye indeed. Little tangy malt cream. Hops are pine and bitterish orange. A sweet floralness contrasts with hop spice. Light semi dry finish. An interesting and very rye forward beer, nice!

Half pint from keg at Craft Beer Co in Islington. Patchy, pearl white head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Unclear apricot coloured body. Dried fruity aroma, mid-sweet. Blended taste profile of raisin, bready malts, peaches, and pumpkin. Malt-fruity ending. Fresh and soft in the mouth. Rather easy to drink. Pleasing (London 23.09.2014).

Flaske. Gulorange let diset øl. Parfumeret humlen duft med en god del citrus, men den parfumeret slags. Smagen er fyldig igen parfumeret citrus. Rigtig fin øl men lidt for megen alkohol til rigtig at ringe

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
September 7, 2014 - on draught at Craft Beer Co (Islington). Hazy orange, large and lasting fluffy off-white thick head. Strong aroma - alcohol, resin, quite fruity and malty behind that - borderline barleywine. Taste - oh yeah, rye for sure, and alcohol, but really well balanced - lively, medium-long sneaky-bitter finish - this one would put you face down in the gutter quite easily. You’d be singing, too.

Flaska. Råg o vetemjöl i en tung kombination. Smaken bred smak med balanserad beska. Lång smak som tyvärr försvinner för fort. Tyvärr lite spretig. Rye är gott.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice citrus note, grapefruit, and an aqueous rye malt notes. Appearance is a cloudy orange with a hint of amber and a huge head that lingers around for a while. Taste has got a nice citrus bite with a rye malt notes intermingled grapefruit and a lightly toasty. Palate is high carbonation with a slightly sticky aftertaste. Overall, Decent specialty grain but nothing really to make it stand out from the crowd. Cheers!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Huge deep offwhite head. Yellow body made hazy by lots of little
particles. Sugary raisiny strawy aroma with spicy fruity notes.
Dryish-sweet roasty spicy fruity taste with raisiny strawy notes.
Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth, slick mouthfeel. Dryish spicy
rye and straw aftertaste with earthy salty resiny notes. I can’t
taste the hops much, but I don’t really care. This is a great
beer. (0.355l bottle, from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen.)
