4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Inky black with a thin tan head. It has a sweet strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavour followed by a malty and sweet strawberry finish. It is a Neapolitan ice cream in a beer glass Ė superb!

10/31/2015: Saugatuck Neapolitan Milk Stout... Not overly sweet, but not overly flavorful either; the various flavor components are subtle with the chocolate being milky, but more from roasted malt character, hints of vanilla, very little berry. Drinkable, but not great or particularly memorable. Draught (nitro) at Dilly in Mariemont, Ohio.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle, packaged on 09/29/15. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with a couple inch tan head that stayed around for a long time. Thereís a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like Neapolitan ice cream. Chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry are all noticeable, along with some roasted malt and nuttiness. The flavor is just like the aroma. I do have to say that at first the strawberry wasnít very strong until the beer warmed up and sat around a little while, so you probably shouldnít drink this one cold at all. It just got better and better the longer I drank it! Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís coating and creamy with moderate carbonation. I liked this a lot, glad I bought a 4-pack of it!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Pours nearly opaque with beige head. Nose delivers on cream and floral strawberry along with cocoa notes. Flavor is rich and largely the same: floral strawberry, some creamy dark malt notes, finish is bittersweet. This is incredible - not gimmicky - just hits exactly the neapolitan flavor profile it sets out for.

Rating #1285 - Growler fill at Sherbrooke. Dark brown pour with a creamy tan head. Super sweet strawberries, and chocolate on the nose. Taste is very rich in chocolate, mild toffee/vanilla with a sweeter than expected finish. Nice depth from the lactose. Great flavoured stout.

Totally blown away with the fact that it really does taste and smell like Neapolitan ice cream! Given the opportunity I will drink this again. Itís light for a stout but it pours a beautiful glass of beer...very dark black in color with a nice head that lingers.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours black with a tan head. Taste strawberry, chocolate, roasted malt, sweet. This is pretty good. I would drink this again.

The hint of Rasberry is great and the beer overall is a great stout to have.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sample from a bottle. Up front, clear strawberry and chocolate flavors. I didnít know what a neopolitan was before, but I have to assume now that thatís what it involves. Bit of a stronger sweet taste, mild bitter. Dark brown color, minimal ring of off-white head, few bits of lace. Medium-plus body. Kind of mild chewy, light carbonation. Mild slick. Not for me. Too sweet, too blunt with the "flavoring". Bit fo a medicinal finish, some herbal mintiness? Touch of coffee in the finish. Strange stuff, less pleasant with every sip.
