A perfect blend of classic dry stout character with brilliant flavors of Neapolitan Ice Cream. Experience the nostalgic flavors of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry all in one glass – because sometimes ice cream just isn’t enough. 16.4°

Uhm...anything with "caramel color added" I get a little concerned. Looks like a flat cola. So not super appealing. Taste is flat. Flavor flat. I do taste strawberry??? Or is that in my head??? This is mediocre at best. Wish it had a more natural feel. And sat better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle: poured a super opaque black body with tall frothy head that settled to around 3mm in the end. High carbonation and lots of lacing. The initial smell was a bit like yeast but I could also feel a faint smell of strawberries and maybe some vanilla. The taste was so interesting, a good blend of roasted malts, strawberry, ice cream and even some chocolate. Really smooth texture, almost syrupy. A very good and drinkable beer.

bottle - Pours near black with a big tan, lingering head. The surprising thing about this beer is that the neapolitan flavors are really there. The aroma is of roast malt, chocolate, and especially strawberries. The flavor is of a sweet stout with assertive strawberries and chocolate and vanilla in the background. Full bodied with soft carbonation, it’s a very good and unusual brew.

This is a very well balanced beer. Very sweet and smooth. This would pair well with many meals.

Poured from a 12oz bottle at home. Tons of foamy off white head. Sticky too. Sweet and creamy chocolate aroma,. Cotton candy, cherry, cocoa, chocoalte, vanilla, ice cream, coffee.....this mother f’r pretty much covers the gammitt with taste. Enjoyable, just haven’t had anything like it before.

it really does smell like chocolate ice cream!! very very dark brown just with a smattering of tan lacing, wow, smooth, rich and creamy sweet burnt chocolate, with a little of the strawberry and vanilla in the background, bloody nice!

On tap at Beer House in Lombard, IL. Arrived in a snifter. A: Arrived in the snifter a deep brown-black with a thin tan head, which dissipated fairly quickly. Lacing was patchy. S: Oh, the sweetness that rolled out of that snifter! This was not unlike the aroma of heavy whipping cream, with some strawberries and chocolate syrup mixed in. T: Creamy and sweet indeed, this actually tastes not unlike what I would imagine a mouthful of Neapolitan ice cream would, if taken with a hefty swig of sweetened medium-roast coffee. The malt profile is present, but the lactose, vanilla, and chocolate flavors are the stars, with hints of berry rolling around the edges. M: Smooth, thick, and creamy, this makes for quite an enjoyable drinking experience. O: For a dessert beer, or as a stout refuge away from the relentless and unending array of hop-forward beers out there, this is quite tasty. Will repeat.

Wow, I'm very surprised! I didn't have high hopes for this as I thought it would be a bit of a gimmick, but it certainly isn't! Looks great, pours as a reddish black vessel with a thick fluffy tan head. The vanilla, chocolate and the strawberry all sit beautifully together on the nose with the vanilla and chocolate giving a smooth undertone while the strawberry adds a brighter fruity note. Tastes very much the same, dry, milky sweetness, slightly smoky, long finish of burnt gently bitter malts. Smooth texture with a thick mouthfeel, sticks to the sides as it goes down, lovely! Overall it was a very pleasant surprise, better than expected and that makes the best kind of beer in my eyes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I split a 12oz bottle with the wife. While the name of this beer is "Neapolitan" it actually tastes much more of strawberries. NOT cheap fake strawberry taste. It tastes like strawberries from a vanilla birthday cake with strawberries in the center. Very good if you like strawberries. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
