A perfect blend of classic dry stout character with brilliant flavors of Neapolitan Ice Cream. Experience the nostalgic flavors of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry all in one glass Ė because sometimes ice cream just isnít enough. 16.4į

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2016 At the Brewery tap house pub. Everyone at the table older than 11 months old I was with didnít think this worked at except for me who quite enjoyed it. Like drinking a bowl of Neapolitan ice cream. Serving: Tap

On draft at Beer Store. Notes of roasted malts, vanilla, some fruit and cream. Body was a tad thin for my taste, but overall it was ok.

Visual: Pours very dark brown with no real head, thin ringed retention, steady streams all around.

Nose: artificial strawberry ice cream, vanilla, subtle malts. Candyesque, but appetizing. (lvl-4)-pungency

Attack: soft crisp, light slick

Mid-palate: aromatic artificial strawberry, long (lvl-7-sweetness)-slight cloying, roasted barley malt

Finish: dark cocoa notes, vanilla extract, lingering plastic artificiality

Summary: Definitely a unique flavour that grabs your attention with the first sip, much like their blueberry maple stout. It does however become very predictable and cloying halfway through. Not a ton of depth but the transitions are decent. I can confidently say I wonít be having another one of these. Too much artificiality.

Part of a flight--almost black color with a small, beige head. The aroma was dominated by cherry and vanilla with some roast. It was only then I realized, oh yea, that kind of neapolitan! The flavor was sweet with lots of chocolate. Medium to heavy body with a creamy finish. It wasnít what I was expected, but delicious. Iron Oak Post.

Bottle. Nose light chocolate, pour cola brown with a tan head. Taste is sweet and did remind of ice cream at first sip, before the cloying sweetness and seemingly artificial strawberry took me out of the illusion. Smooth and creamy fullish body beset by sugar, the kind that accumulates around the molars, with subtle low bitterness and touches of real chocolate and roast floating about. Touch milky, but no real vanilla, with a good amount of crispness to remind me this is a beer. A committed and ultimately successful dessert beer to enjoy by itself. [2016.08.19: 3.4]

Bottle at TradeBook Tasting. Thanks! Poured a dark Brown colour with a tanned head. Nose of sweet bakers chocolate, vanilla, vanilla Cream, milk, mocha, lotís of sweet strawberries, almost like strawberry syrup. Aftertaste is quite artificial and medium to light bodied. However.. Itís tasting just like the name said, neapolitian ice cream

Bottle courtesy of LinusB. Pours blackish reddish brown with a small beige head that leaves some sparse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, strawberries, milk and soil. Taste is sweet, malty and fruity. Mouthfeel is round, tiny cloying and medium bodied. Finish is sweet with roasted malts, chocolate, synthetic strawberries, milk duds and minerals. Not a fan of the hugely synthetic strawberry character.
