Tasted on 7/1/13 from a capped 12oz bottle sent to me in the Easter Bunny BIF. Pours completely opaque dark brown, nearly black, with an average tan head that leaves average lace, along with tons of clinging to the glass. The nose is sweet with strawberry syrup, plenty of milk chocolate, and a nice vanilla aroma. The flavor is the same as the nose, but all of the flavors are on the dry side, with a nice dose of bitter dark chocolate. The body is full and creamy with average, but very smooth carbonation, and a long dry strawberry and bitter dark chocolate finish. This is very pleasant.

12oz. from Alma. The aroma is a little soy and hay. Pours almost black with fully diminishing light brown head, good lacing. The taste is sweet. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. Very good, not sure it was a fair trade for a Big Eddy.

Pours a dark black with a small medium head which lingers.......aroma of chocolate, and oddly that smell of a loaded ice cream cooler.......taste is quite good. The chocolate and berry flavors show quite well and the smooth body relates to ice cream. For once a fun beer to enjoy. Not intense, just enjoyable.

A nice sweet stout with good balanced flavors of chocolate and light berries. Itís not life-altering but itís quite good.

Pitch black, off white head
Aroma - Neapolitan ice cream...it really does. Dark, soft strawberry
Taste of dark sweet malts, chocolate ice cream, slight roast, vanilla, that synthetic strawberry in Neapolitan ice cream, milk sugars, sweet fruity, yum yum, really like the ice cream sold as blocks
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, sweet. Finish as main flavour, smooth finish, dark chocolate.
Overall - Really liked this - itís the real deal, tastes what it says it is. A good dessert stout.

Appearance- pretty much black, opaque, a small light brown foamy head. Aroma- chocolate, vanilla, fudge, some strawberry, roast malt, milky coffee, leather. Taste- strawberry, cherries, vanilla, cherry brandy, chocolate, coffee, dark malts. Mouthfeel is fluffy and a bit rich. This actually tastes like itís supposed to... quite nice, a bit sweet and syrupy though.

Intense complex aroma, and knowing you're having a neapolitan stout you kind of find the flavors fairly easily. Dark, sweet, complex and slightly boozy in the mouth. A bit syrupy. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Beer Store. Notes of roasted malts, vanilla, some fruit and cream. Body was a tad thin for my taste, but overall it was ok.

Visual: Pours very dark brown with no real head, thin ringed retention, steady streams all around.

Nose: artificial strawberry ice cream, vanilla, subtle malts. Candyesque, but appetizing. (lvl-4)-pungency

Attack: soft crisp, light slick

Mid-palate: aromatic artificial strawberry, long (lvl-7-sweetness)-slight cloying, roasted barley malt

Finish: dark cocoa notes, vanilla extract, lingering plastic artificiality

Summary: Definitely a unique flavour that grabs your attention with the first sip, much like their blueberry maple stout. It does however become very predictable and cloying halfway through. Not a ton of depth but the transitions are decent. I can confidently say I wonít be having another one of these. Too much artificiality.

Part of a flight--almost black color with a small, beige head. The aroma was dominated by cherry and vanilla with some roast. It was only then I realized, oh yea, that kind of neapolitan! The flavor was sweet with lots of chocolate. Medium to heavy body with a creamy finish. It wasnít what I was expected, but delicious. Iron Oak Post.

Cola brown pour with aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Flavor is largely vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry melted together. Rich body. Well done!
