A perfect blend of classic dry stout character with brilliant flavors of Neapolitan Ice Cream. Experience the nostalgic flavors of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry all in one glass – because sometimes ice cream just isn’t enough. 16.4°

Tasted on 7/1/13 from a capped 12oz bottle sent to me in the Easter Bunny BIF. Pours completely opaque dark brown, nearly black, with an average tan head that leaves average lace, along with tons of clinging to the glass. The nose is sweet with strawberry syrup, plenty of milk chocolate, and a nice vanilla aroma. The flavor is the same as the nose, but all of the flavors are on the dry side, with a nice dose of bitter dark chocolate. The body is full and creamy with average, but very smooth carbonation, and a long dry strawberry and bitter dark chocolate finish. This is very pleasant.

12 oz. bottle from Old Town; shared with my Boo. Aroma: Neapolitan ice cream that’s heavy on the strawberry; a pretty healthy amount of milk sugar to boot. Definite dessert-beer territory. Appearance: Cola ruby brown with a creamy mocha ring of head. Flavor: Strawberry up front followed by lighter vanilla; the finish has a little lingering sweetness and finally includes chocolate in the tally of flavors. Palate: Light body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: This is a fun beer. If you can take it as such, it can be an enjoyable experience. I want to try this with Neapolitan ice cream.

12 oz bottle pours an opaque dark brown/black with moderate tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is full of vanilla, chocolate, and artificial strawberry, just like neapolitan ice cream. Taste is on the sweet side, with some bitterness in the finish. Body is medium with a creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. This is an enjoyable novelty beer I decided to try a second time. No one else replicates the taste of Neapolitan Ice Cream in a beer, but I don’t know of anyone else who has tried this.

Bottl as a birthday gift from Chris. Cheers! Pours black with a good foamy beige head. Strawberry and vanilla in the aroma. The taste has all the elements of neopolitan icecream. Sweet with light spice and strawberry initially before chocolate and vanilla in the finish. The sttawberry flavour felt a bit synthetic to me. It’s a little cloying after a while too. A novelty.

12oz bottle. Pours black with a nice big chocolate head that persists. I definitely get chocolate aroma. The strawberry is the flavor that stands out the most. Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours deep chocolate with a lacy tan head. Aromas of cocoa, chocolate, and (artificial) berries, not much vanilla present to my nose; scent takes off as it warms. Cocoa, chocolate hints are most prevalent in the taste, but the notes of berry and vanilla are present too. Interesting offering; not my favorite but not bad at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle into a snifter glass. Pours an inky black with a small khaki head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma of artificial strawberry (the kind you’d smell in a breakfast cereal), vanilla, chocolate, roasted malts, wheat, lactose. Taste really pulls off what the aroma doesn’t, that of actual Neapolitan ice cream! Seriously, it really does taste like it! Great blend of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla all at once. Actually even has a bit of spumoni ice cream flavor in there as well. Backed by a nice malty roastiness and pronounced sweetness. Medium-full body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Truth in advertising here. Don’t expect anything different or other than actual neapolitan ice cream and you won’t be disappointed.

Black with little head. Aroma- strawberry. Taste- not sure how they did this, but sure enough, you get the strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel. Cloying but curiously good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap tap house. Black, brown lace. Strong artificial berry aromatics on milk chocolate and roast. Creamy medium full body. Berries (raspberry, strawberry, currant) dominates, unnaturally so, some vanilla and cocoa, interesting for sure. Good with dessert in small doses.
