A perfect blend of classic dry stout character with brilliant flavors of Neapolitan Ice Cream. Experience the nostalgic flavors of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry all in one glass Ė because sometimes ice cream just isnít enough. 16.4į

Tasted on 7/1/13 from a capped 12oz bottle sent to me in the Easter Bunny BIF. Pours completely opaque dark brown, nearly black, with an average tan head that leaves average lace, along with tons of clinging to the glass. The nose is sweet with strawberry syrup, plenty of milk chocolate, and a nice vanilla aroma. The flavor is the same as the nose, but all of the flavors are on the dry side, with a nice dose of bitter dark chocolate. The body is full and creamy with average, but very smooth carbonation, and a long dry strawberry and bitter dark chocolate finish. This is very pleasant.

Soft coffee and roasted barley on the nose, sharp hops, trying hard to be interesting but coming off average. Has a milky coffee flavour without complexity or challenge. You could probably drink a lot of this but I was hoping for more... like napoleon style conquering. Oh well.

Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a dark brownish black with beige head. Smells and tastes good too; all the flavors that the name and description suggest. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, smooth, and pleasant.Good beer.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Dark brown coloured hue with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Mildly roasted malty aroma with notes of chocolate, lactose, vanilla and a distinctive touch of strawberries. Moderately sweet and mildly roasty bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Balanced, mildly roasted malt character with fruity notes of strawberries; sweet and slightly roasty bitter finish with chocolate and fruit. Well-done. 31.VIII.15

Bottle from bierpost.com Poured almost black with a big off white head. Aroma is sweet and is exactly that of Neapolitan Ice Cream. Impressive. Taste is ultra sweet and if you closed your eyes and had your glass switched with a glass of melted ice cream I donít think youíd know any different. Interesting concept and bonus marks for achieving what was intended but way too sweet for a beer and it was an effort to finish a bottle of this.

On tap at The Buck. Pours near black with a nice tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a strange fruit flavor that does actually taste like neopolitan ice cream. I donít know how they did that. Very creamy and tasty.

Bottle... Pours dark brown with a thin, creamy, beige head. Not much to it, but it lasts. The aromatic highlights are strawberry syrup, almond liqueur and vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor offers fruity sweetness alongside roasty, burnt bitterness. Good balance here, but the components donít merge. They remain detached. Finishes bittersweet and roasty, but the strawberry, syrupy sweetness lingers. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz!

Bottle. Pours a dark brown, black, with a few latte-colored bubbles hanging around. Aroma is chocolate ice cream, milk chocolate, some roast, light coffee, mocha. Taste is semi-sweet, chocolate, nougat, chocolate ice cream, light roast. Somewhat thin. Too thin for the taste. Fairly high carbonation.
