3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
23rd October 2011
Opaque black beer, good pale tan head. Light dry palate with moderate carbonation. The head is milky and tangy. Lactose sweetness contrasts with the somewhat bitter dark malt. Well judged vanilla and sweet tart strawberry. The finish is dry and with dark malt roast bitterness (the dark chocolate factor). Interesting beer - a good idea that could have easily been a disaster, but this is well executed.

Very vanilla... Soft chocolate... Long raspberry finish... Ok there a little artificial tones on there.. But its totally nailed neapolitan
