On tap. Pours near black with a dark brown brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of roasted malts and chocolate with a light strawberry and vanilla. Flavor starts with roasted malts and chocolate that mellow to let strawberry and vanilla. Works really well!

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a thick tan head. Strawberry notes dominate the nose along with some roast and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel. Velvety mouthfeel. Taste like Neapolitan ice cream all the way until the end where there is a slight bitterness. The strawberry aroma and taste has to be artificial, right? Not necessarily a bad thing but something I am not that keen on in my beer. The bitter ending is not that great either.

On nitro. Pour is black with a thick foamy white head. The head lasts throughout the entire tasting, good lacing. Aroma is of light milk chocolate, roasted barley, and a bit of sweetness (caramel/vanilla). Flavor is very heavy on the lactose with the sweet caramel and roasted barley in the finish. Smooth carbonation.

Forgot to rate this. Remember it being like you would expect. Nothing exciting but as advertised.

Pours black, with a thick brown head. Aroma is milk chocolate, vanilla, strawberry...... Taste is the same with a mild ashy bittering..... Pretty apt name for this beer, really....it delivers what it says. Creamy, but finishes a bit chalky. Pretty good.

Bottle. Strawberry and chocolate malt aroma. Dark brown with giant tan head. Sweet berry, chocolate malt and moderately bitter herbal hops and ash flavor. Pretty good.

Bottle. Milk chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla aroma -- big surprise. Black brown with a large tan head, nice lacing. Roasty charred malt, chocolate, strawberry flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pretty good, but I could have done without the char in the flavor.

Smells like strawberries. Near black. Creamy cappucino colored head. Tastes almost exactly like the ice cream.

Pretty darn good milk stout-- big, complex flavor but very drinkable. I might have rated it higher but this beer embodies one of my pet peeves-- artificial coloring in a craft beer??? As if that weren’t enough-- CARMEL coloring needed for a freaking Milk Stout?? I don’t know enough about brewing to guess why this is necessary, but something offends me in a basic way when you have to dye a stout carmel. I mean come on. All that aside, it really is good. Tip: this one is absolutely excellent for stout cooking duties (especially slow roasting beef). Good beer. . what I wouldn’t do to know its natural color.

Bottle from Suchy3! Pours deep brown with a nice tan head. Big aroma of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry (just as advertised!). Taste is the same, but a little dry and finishes chalky. Would like a bit less lactose and maybe something to smooth things out (oatmeal?) Definitely not bad though!
