Draft at the 2012 Michigan Brewer’s Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Medium-bodied with lots of nutmeg and vanilla but little sweetness or woody acidity. Odd.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2010 Very dark brown pour with substantial tan head, which exudes a very robust vanilla, cream, nutmeg nose. Flavors follow suit: strong upfront vanilla cream, nuts, caramel, roasted grain, molasses, brown sugar, with the oatmeal lending a decent amount of creaminess to the texture. Decent.
