An easy drinking light ale with subtle malt flavors and aroma perfectly paired with a well balanced body. Oval Beach Blonde is a great everyday pint and a perfect gateway into the world of craft beer for inexperienced beer drinkers. 11.3°

Pour on tap at Old Chicago, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, some slight grass, spice, hints of husk. Taste was a mix of slight grass, bread, dough into a bit of spice, husk, finishing slightly sweet. Eh.

Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of cereal, light grain, some vegetable, slight lemon and subtle grassy hops. Taste of cereal, grain, slight vegetable, a little lemon, a hint of cardboard and subtle grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A lingering, malty, vegetable finish. An extremely bland golden ale. Vegetable and weird grassiness throughout. Not horrible but not recommended.

It pours blond with barely a head to mention. The aroma has light toast, bread and is a touch medicinal. It has a medium body with mild carbonation. The yard is like the aroma, but more astringent. There are minerals and some mushiness to the malt. Not really for me.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of citrus and grain. Taste of citrus and malt sweetness. Light bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, with a smooth feel. Decent beer that goes good with a BBQ.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2016 This beer just isn’t that impressive to me. It’s very easy to drink, like very easy. It tastes like is PBR was a craft, and for that it is not bad. Definitely get the caramel aroma and taste. Overall, just kinda good.

Straw color with a dissipating white head. Aromas of flour and grains. Hints of hops. Light sweetness with some grains and mild astringency. Not much going on with this one.

Bottle in Bodega in Bowness on Windermere. Golden with a thin white head. Mild citrus aroma. The taste has a little floral citrus. Watery and fairly bland. Poor.

Aroma had an odd sour milk ordor, but it isn’t a skunk beer. Taste is dull and more of a light than a crafted beverage. No hops, malts are dulled and the barley exists but is not roasted or crisp. Palate is clean and slightly sweet, not bad. Not something I ever need to have again. Bottle

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is bready and caramel malts along with mild grains, grass, some floral and herbal notes. Flavour is quite similar with some mild spruce to it. Quite a crisp maltiness to it.
