Tasted OK but something disagreed with me with the way it smelled. Smelled kind of like hay but with some wrong mixed in. Serving:Bottle

Bottle. Lactic barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet honey and barley malt flavor. Pretty good - nice light and smooth beer.

Bottle. Bready wheat and light citrus aroma. Slightly hazy straw gold with a moderate white head. Bready wheat malt, citrus, and grassy bitter flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. A bit on the rough side.

Pours cloudy gold with a short, off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, wheat, citrus. Taste is slightly bitter wheat, yeast. A dull sourness to it. Not impressed.

Bottle, split with my wife. Pours golden. Small white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Flavor of the same. Easy drinking summer beer. Not great, but certainly not bad. Definitely could drink at the pool or the beach.

I was excited to try Saugatuck’s other beers after trying the excellent Bonfire Brown but, sadly, this does not deliver. It pours a hazed orange w/ very little head. Nose is mild orange citrus and the flavor is sort of sweet w/ a yeasty sort of fruitiness. I am not sure if this was intentional or if it picked up a stray yeast but it sort of seems to split the different between an APA-ish American wheat and a Belgian blond. It’s not horrible but I don’t see myself drinking this again either.

Bottle: Not bad, but pretty average. Easy to drink, but a little light. I would drink another if it was free.

It’s what you expect out of a blonde. Very easy summer beer to drink. I would get bored drinking a lot of it, but nice in moderation.

For those of you who want something besides Oberon, check this one out. Michigan Summer beer at its finest.

Small foamy fine white quickly diminishing. Transparent light orange uncarbonated. Mild hop malt aroma. Off tasting palate tingly start to finish. Mild crisp hop soft malt flavor. Ok just nothing special.

Mostly clear and golden, a short white head disappears within a minute. Very faint aroma of pale malt and little else. Flavor is surprisingly solid, a little one-dimensional, but, well... this is a blonde. Satisfying Ovaltine maltiness with a hint of nuts, taffy and lemon. An easy-drinker. If it was on-hand I would session it, but I doubt I would purposely seek it out. ~~~~~~~~~ 6pk./12oz. from one of my wife’s co-workers.
