COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Multiple hop varieties, extended boil times, plus dry hopping create this intensely aromatic IPA. The full malt body complements the hop bitterness leading to a crisp and refreshing taste. Named after the legen dary lumber boomtown of Singapore, now buried under the sands of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Kalamazoo River. 16.2°

Pours golden with a white, short lived head. Aroma consists of grapefruit, pineapple, peach, and a bit of pine. It is enticing, but doesn’t overpower you. The taste is what you would expect from this style. Grapefruit and pine dominate. I also find lemon, pineapple, grass, and a few floral impressions actually. Bitter. Aftertaste is pine and grapefruit. Medium in body with a more sticky texture. This is a fairly solid IPA.

Bottle at home. Pours a somewhat hazy golden with an off-white head. Dry with hoppy aromas of spruce and malty aromas of caramel and hints of slightly toasted malts. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Bitter finish.

12oz bottle, thanks to robotopera for sharing. 7%, 72 IBU. Code on bottle reads 131201 1170. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Some lace. Grassy piney citrusy hop nose. Kind of zesty. Bigger bitter taste. Medium to bigger body. Smooth kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Drying finish. Decent assertive bitter IPA.

Craft Clerkenwell 3rd Birthday Bash. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp. Light malt, modest sweetness. Minerals. Little floral things. Tinned syrupy tropical fruits. Kinda works in a keg crisp palate.

Draught @ Detroit International. I was in a rush between flights when I downed this but it was less than inspirational.

Keg at CBC Clerko, 23/06/14. Lightly hazed golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is pale malt, bread dough, hay, faint hop presence, light citrus tones, all very muted. Taste comprises caramel malt, straw, light orange rinse, lemon peel, biscuit notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, pleasant feel. Pretty so so IPA, generic new brewpub style box ticker affair! Where are the hops?

Flaske, 355 ml. Medium bitter, semi-dry.
