COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Multiple hop varieties, extended boil times, plus dry hopping create this intensely aromatic IPA. The full malt body complements the hop bitterness leading to a crisp and refreshing taste. Named after the legen dary lumber boomtown of Singapore, now buried under the sands of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Kalamazoo River. 16.2°

I found it better than most other reviewers. Nice hoppy flavor with a good bitter ending. More robust flavor than many IPA’s, very similar to Lagunitas. Not sure why they named it Singapore, as it doesn’t remind me of any Asian beers on the market.

Bottle. The pour is a lighter orange yellowish. The aroma is mostly nice hops. The taste is off hops and metallically bitter. Not a fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

hotstuff (3954) - Indiana, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Rated on 12-28-2010. This bottled beer gushed when opened. It has a large frothy white head that mostly diminishes, hazy yellow golden body, slow rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, pine, citrus, and grapefruit hops. The taste is bitter, malty, citrus and pine hops. This beer has a dry finish. The mouth feel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. This IPA is one for hop heads as it is very hoppy tasting. It is worth trying.

Im not a huge fan of the dryer beers. It has a lighter actual flavor profile. I’d drunk it again.

330 ml bottle at the airport in Detroit. Pours a cloudy light copper with a short white head. Aroma is Creamy orange and hops. Taste is more of the same but with metal coming through. Palate is slighty metal like but ok.

Best Western International Gateway in Romulus Michigan near Detroit airport. Decent IPA. Not remarkable but very hoppy and refreshing. Clear, golden colour, clean finish, a bit creamy but not a remarkable palate, mildly carbonated, head dissipated quickly and there was very little lacing.

12 oz bottle. 1178. BB 131229. (Siciliano’s) Grand Rapids, MI.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Fruity and candy sweet hops and cookie malty sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is grapefruity and mild resiny hops, moderate bitterness and some maltiness. Much drier. A bit watery and one-dimensional. Harsh bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Binnys singles rack. Pours an orangey copper with a whitish head leaving a bit of lace. Aroma has sweet fruits, pine and caramel Taste is of pine, some fruit, some citrus. Some malt back. Medium bodied. Solidly tasty IPA. Should have stopped there instead of New Holland on the 50th trip.
