Itís very refreshing. It tastes like wine. It has alcohol. Itís something I can down a six pack in a sunny afternoon. BUT ITíS NOT BEER. My all fours rating doesnít reflect my opinion of this superb product, just a protest against its listing here.

Clear light yellow body, lots of active bubbles during to the surface. Sweet apple aroma. Taste is quite sweet considering this was labeled as "dry." Sugary, apples of course. Really nothing complex or subtle about this. I was actually just in Stellenbosch last summer. I can say that South Africa has much better alcoholic beverages than this - including some great craft beer and wine...probably some ciders, too. This one, however, is just okay.

Sample@kittys. Golden sparkly. Ripe apples, bit applejammy sweet nose. Sweet pears too. Med light bodied, some sugaryness, dryish finish though clean, bit candy sodapoppy, but not totally too much.

Bottle at Park Bar, Reading University. Pale gold and very fizzy. Dry? Are they allowed to call it that when itís actually horribly, horribly sweet? Little evidence of apples, but a whole lot of evidence of sugar. Very sticky. Straying into alcopop territory. Ghastly.
