1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Lightly troubled pour showing very little carbonation (almost none to be honest). The head shows average retention and fades to a thin layer. The nose is pretty bland but does offer some grains at first hand. The taste is just weird pairing some sort of yeastiness to bitter malts. It has quite a vegetable kick to it to be honest and I didn’t enjoy it so much but not only for the taste itself but also for the absence of structural elements that could have saved it like some body or more hops to balance it out. The mouthfeel is a sharp at first but drops quickly to that bitter malty finish. I guess the only good aspect of this beer would be that it’s eco-friendly.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500ml can from the LCBO. Pours a pale yellow, with a thick white head that quickly dissapears. Aroma and taste are that of a typical european pale lager. No different really than the regular Boris. There are much better organic beers out there.

very yeasty, notes of citrus, floral.
mild flavour for the most part, some breadiness, sort of plain and uninteresting.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
500mL can from the LCBO. Pours a very, very, very pale yellow with a nice white head and a disturbing amount of particulate matter in the glass. Very weak, almost indiscernible aroma. Taste is weak, but unoffensive. Pleasant on the palate, I admit - a relatively dry, chalky palate that reminds me of Cooper’s Sparkling Ale. Not good, but not bad. Better than the average macro, but not by much.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml can poured into a pint glass. Poured a clear pale yellow with a 1" head that did not last long. Good lacing. Mild aroma of sweet corn and grains. Tastes sweet with a bitter aftertaste. Good balance but a bit mild. Crisp mouthfeel but pretty average for a lager. It’s easy to drink because it doesn’t taste bad nor is it offensive. It’s just a little mild in color & aroma with decent flavor. Overall it’s a pretty decent Lager.
