Surprisingly I sense no skunk here at all. Gold hue, thin white head. Nothing really exciting about appearance. There is an odd aftertaste but the initial flavor is unoffensive. Not the worst thing that has come from France. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Oct 31, 2004 Bottle. Poured a medium sized smooth white head, sparse lacing, transparent, very little carbonation, and a yellow gold hue. Malty and skunky aroma. Yuck. Malty and some hop flavor that left an unpleasing lingering aftertaste. Tingly mouthfeel. Light-medum bodied pilsener. Not recommended unless you enjoy pilseners. pkbites (328), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Like grass clippings soaked in bile! It attempts (weakly) at some flavor, but like the French army v.s. ...........ANY other army, it fails. I bought a 12 pack (of those annoying 8.5 ounce bottles) for $8.99 in Milwaukee on 10/21/04. Theres is a $5 rebate, but they make you go through hoops to get it!
I’ll bet anything I don’t get the refund. But even if I do, this whore juice isn’t worth $3.99!! Do me a favor: if your reading this, E-mail me to confirm you read it! At least I’ll get the satisfaction of knowing I warned someone about it! Blech! Truly vulgar!!
UPDATE: I mailed the rebate in on October 25, 2004. Today is January 18, 2005. I have received NOTHING! What a scam!
UPDATE: You’re not going to believe this! I swear to God it’s true! Today is Monday, April 18th, 2005. I RECEIVED MY $5 REBATE TODAY!!!!! ALMOST 6 MONTHS TO THE DAY!!! 6 MONTHS!! WTF?!?!?!! igel (196), New Mexico, USA

Probably not, just Narcissistic.
Pours a light golden color with a nice full soapy head. Nicely carbonated with a sticky lace. Aroma is quite pilsneresque and a little skunky; a light sweetness with a crisp hop presence. Flavor is surprisingly sweet with very little hop in the finish (shows up late). The palate is light and creamy with a lively effervescence and a lingering bitterness. I found it a fair brew, but nothing special. It appears to be more about form than content. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 17, 2004 Not a very complex beer. Tastes very strong for style. Fruity nose, a bit skunky as well. I’d pass on this one. pintbypint (1004), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Slight vegetable tinge to the nose and skunk. A little grainy taste, light dose of hops in the finish. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Sep 12, 2004 Green bottles usually mean certain death in the beer world whether it be to the taste or the aroma. Why are they always so skunky? So Boris is one of the more putrid of the pack. Stick to Heineken or Stella instead. Kinz (2203), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 11, 2004 This basically sucked. Pale gold, OK head. Sweet corn flake aroma. Flavor was like a watery Kronenbourg. Touch of skunk on top of everything. Cute little bottle though.
