clear gold, headless, sweet corn aroma, lots of nice bitter hop flavor trying to balance the sweet core malt but the sweetness is so coying that it falls short,

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 2, 2004 Pale golden. Some hay-like hops, urine and vauge malts in the aroma. Accent is malty, but not overly so. Off-dry finish. In the Heineken vein of having some admirable characteristics, but overall too light to bother. Rastacouere (5553), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jan 12, 2004 Pours clear yellow, very carbonated with almost no head. Very mild grassy/grainy malt aroma. Taste is actually more pilsnerish than I expected after smelling. Rather crisp. Sweet herbal malt quickly followed by a dry and bitter finish. I paid it 99 cents, so I'm not particularly regretful. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel and noble hops. Body starts with a decent amount of sweet malt and thins toward a slightly bitter finish with a lager yeasty profile. A pretty standard pilsner. imdownthepub (5123), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
