This is a good basic brown. If you told me it was a Newcastle brown I wouldn’t question it.

Growler shared with Kyle. Good brown ale. Great color and head. Clean nutty finish. Will get again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Tupelo Honey - Asheville. Pours clear dark brown with a medium, frothy beige head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is toast, caramel, and nutty malt with earthy hops and light fig notes. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, light tart dark fruits and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Not really my style but an ok brown. The hop taste kind of sends my taste buds for a quick spin only to be destroyed by malty sweetness. Ok

On tap at Tupelo Honey Cafe (Greenville, SC). Great looking, with a deep, dark brown body and a thick, durable head. Excellent clarity and lacing. Good aroma and flavor, with neither flaws nor anything exceptional. Likewise for the medium-light body.

Notes of roast malt, coffee, and brown sugar. Deep chesnut brown with a small cap. Bitter with good roast malt balance. Medium bodied with a bittersweet finish.

A really nice brown. Nice balance not nut like but not chalky either. Nice head. Enjoyable easy drinking beer

Brown pour with fluffy tan head and lace. Aroma of light roasted malt and a hinto chocolate. Roasted malt, chocolate, and a pretty hard bitter. Medium body with smooth carbonation.

Pure brown with white head. Aroma and taste are like a regular brown with a bitter and sour back. Not optimal.
