Iím not positive that the porter I had at the brewery, but it wasnít clearly marked. It was malty with not much hops. I didnít notice a chocolate flavor.

Dark brown; clear but near opaque. Very durable tan head with excellent lacing. Flavor: super mix of hops (light). dark and medium roast malts, and chocolate. Coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of smoke in the finish. Medium-light body; well-chosen medium-light carbonation. O: easilly the best Iíve tried from this brewery.

On tap at Bearden Beer Market. Black, not much head. Smells chocolatey, as you might expect. Taste is chocolate, coffee, and a small but persistent hint of red wine.

Pint on nitro tap. Nearly opaque chocolate with a lasting creamy head. Nose of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is dark and milk chocolate, coffee and lightly sour fruit. Near-medium body is well balanced, has medium carbonation, and is a decent session beer.
