tap at Brixx Knoxville, reviewing from notes - Pours a clear golden orange. No lacing, no head. Aroma is raspberry and bread. Taste is mildly bitter with sweet raspberry notes. Lightly carbonated, finishes mostly clean. Palate is a bit watery.

Draft. Golden with a small fizzy head. Nose is raspberry. taste is raspberry, wheat, and maybe some lemon. The raspberry doesnít seem fake or syrupy is about the best thing I can say for this one. Light body is acidic-tingly and a bit refreshing, though not enough so to make me want to drink two.

Draft at Brixx Knoxville. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Syrupy raspberry on the nose. Bland on the tongue except for the invasive raspberry. Clean finish.

Draft. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Complex sweet fruit aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft catbonation. Medium to heavy sweet raspberry flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Pint at Bistro at the Bijou. Well here is a raspberry beverage. From the get-go this is perfumy and fruity with no beer qualities. It never gets overly sweet and the raspberry flavor is natural. It takes a few sips to even discern some woody hops in the finish. Fruit beers can be good when they taste like fruit AND beer. This basically is a raspberry cooler. Good beer for people who arenít in the mood for beer.

Draught at Half Barrel. Pours hazy brass with small white head. The aroma is mild fresh raspberry, graininess, and a little bit of a spicy hint. The flavor is clean tart raspberry, which is thankfully not overwhelming. A bready wheat backbone holds up the fruit. Slight notes of clove and lemon show up here and there. Clean, fruity finish. Pretty good, really. Fruit beers arenít my cup of tea, but if it were, I would drink this.

On tap @ Bearden Beer Market: Light straw yellow pour with a bubbly white head and ample lacing. Tart lemon-like aroma upfront then subtle raspberries and fruit, with some light earthy yeasts and very light hops. Taste is tart then sweet, with the raspberry then light lemons upfront, then lightly sweet and little hops bitter or linger. Super refreshing and damn glad to FINALLY get a Marble City beer. Good summer beer.

Hazy orange-yellow, white cover. The aroma is the expected raspberry jam. The taste is again sweet raspberry puree, there is a lingering twinge of medicinal or metallic fruitiness, and I would like to see more wheat character even in a fruit beer, but its ok.
