On tap at 2014 Ottawa Winterbrewed. Black with brown head. Vanilla, roasted malt, cookie wafers, chilli is hidden mostly until the finish until the beer comes up to room temperature which is a change from the rocket stout (nice change), some roasted malt, moderate carbonation and body, smooth, dry, bitter and some heat on the finish.

[4979-20121129] Cask. Toasted chili peppers and chocolate-dusted chemical grain aroma. Slightly hazy, dark brown body with a medium-lasting foamy tan head. Roasted chili pepper continues in the flavour with a solid toasted grain base and hints of spicy mint in the finish. Medium body has a cumulative spice factor. Interesting to sample. 2012-11-29. Very dark brown black body with a small tan head. Big aroma of dry cocoa or Mexican chocolate (I wrote this but in hindsight I realized that what I was ascribing to the gritty sugary quality of Mexican chocolate (may have actually been the cinnamon, but I am not sure) and hot peppers. 7+ Flavour has mild sweet malt, whispers of cocoa and a mild burny pepper character that slowly grows in the finish. Average bodied palate is very lightly carbonated. A little more carbonation and just a little less burn in the background would go a long way to making this one more to my liking. That sound, I think I might have enjoyed it a touch more on a different day. It wasnt really want my palate was looking for tonight. On cask at Amsterdam Movember Event

On tap at Amsterdam charity event. Light Cinnamon aroma. Medium brown colour. Tastes like Cinnamon left around for a while, with a finish of some chile heat that lingered on the palate. Not that popular a choice, but certainly drinkable. Potential, needs more heat from the chiles.
