3-day old can from brewery. Pours almost clear yellow. Fresh pine hop aroma with grape notes. Taste follows the nose. Lovely balanced bitter finish. Easily a top 10 Ontario IPA. Maybe top 5.

bottle from Pushkinwow. Golden amber pour with a nice layer of white foamy head. Aroma is pine, citrus and malty sweetness. Taste is bitter up front, nice mouthfeel, followed by citrus, pine and some malty sweetness. Finish is juicy with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Very solid.

Pours a hazy orange with a frothy white head. Lots of grapefruit aromas with some herbal hops. Lots of resinous pine bitterness in the mouth. It definitely deserves its name. Fruity grapefruit and citrus flavors in the beginning that make place for the strong bitterness. Some woodsy and herbal flavors too. An IPA for hop heads.

Pours a clear pale amber with an enthusiastic three fingers of fluffy white head diminishing gradually to a thin cap and moderate spotty lacing. Nose is bright and big, pine resin and citrus, with some pineapple and sweet caramel malt. Taste follows suit, with brief caramel sweetness followed immediately by tropical fruit and pine resin bitterness. Medium body, with moderate sustained carbonation and a lingering sticky bitterness on a dry finish. Well, that’s a whole lot of fun! Big, bright hops on the nose, followed up by a whole lotta hops on the tongue. The flavour is nicely balanced between sweet malt and big hops at the outset, with the hops then growing by leaps and bounds. The sharpness gets a little aggressive on the finish, but not to the point of being unbalanced.

Very cloudy, sediment was disturbed. Brownish gold color. Very bitter, resinous aroma, yeasty, strong. Kind of rough aftertaste, not bad but needs a bit of polishing.

Bottle, shared by TylerDurden. Very hazy bright orange, thick light golden head. Big pine and citrus rind hop flavours, sweet caramel malts in terrific balance, big flavours, long bitterness, excellent!

650mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy dark orange with a large white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops, a little citrus zest, and some crisp crackery malt - loads of pine though. Flavour brings out a huge wallop of intensely bitter piney hops - oh man is this piney and hoppy. Super dry, fairly astringent, but super drinkable. Excellent IPA.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2014 Drank straight from the can the first time so didn?t real get the full experience. Second time out of a glass - looked great with a head that disappears quickly. Really solid IPA.

You can smell this beer from across the room before you’ve even finished pouring it. Lots of pine, grapefruit rind, orange, caramel. Taste is pure hop bomb. The first sip was overwhelming, the second and third slightly less so. Thereafter the flavours start to pop all over. Lots of grapefruit and orange, and some bright tropical fruit in the background, with a bit of caramel from the malt. Finish is bitter, resinous pine, very dry. Great beer.
