3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from LCBO, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear orange-amber with a nice off-white froth.
Aroma: Rich, strong, thick pine/resin, lots of peach/apricot fruitiness, big crunchy caramel/toffee malts, a little dusty, some booze, peppery, really nice.
Palate: Medium+ body, fine effervescence, slick.
Flav.: Lots of rich toffee maltiness, big and crunchy, yet dry, a big helping of pine/resin, dank, still some peach apricot fruitiness, dark bread crust, impressive; dry with very good bitterness and a long, richly malty and pine/grapefruit/resin finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
It pours gold-coloured with a slight brownish tint; the head is off-white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: pine resin, grapefruit, toffee, and a slight sweet tropical fruit note. The taste is medium bitter that finishes heavy bitter; there are notes of: pine resin, grapefruit pith, and alcohol, The palate is medium bodied, with light carbonation, slight oiliness, and a long bitter finish. Overall, a fairly boring IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Single from the LCBO and first Sawdust for me. Pours a rich golden-amber colour with a frothy white cap that stays long and gives out thick bubbly lacing. Beautiful fresh hop nose with some grass and grapefruit citrus. Hints of sweet fruits and burnt malts eventually come out. Wet mouthfeel, but well-balanced with some light dryness from the hop and great bitterness. Behind the pine-grapefruit is fine malt balancing everything with notes of grains. This is pretty well-brewed West Coast IPA. Highly recommended.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours orange marmalade with a thin French vanilla cap. Smells like an early spring hike on the northern section of Bruce trail. I get citrus on the tongue & wet skunk weed in the after taste. My local needs to get this on tap. I could ride this all night.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a golden amber with a medium off-white head, that unfortunately doesn’t last long. Aroma is citrus and resinous hops and sweet malt. Taste is big on the bitter grapefruit and pine resin with a good sweet buiscuit malt to round it out. Body is medium with average carbonation.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a nice deep gold colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malty sweet, with pine and grapefruit balancing out the nose. The flavour is solid, a good malty, toffee and biscuit baseline, with juicey hop notes of tropical grapefruit, grapefruit, ends on a sort of muddled note of sweet and bitter, but all and all its very solid.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
650mL from my lickbow. Pours a clear copper with a small beige head and the aroma is full of nice piney hops and a malt backbone playing a supportive role. The flavour is where this one shines and you get a nice wave of juicy citrus hops followed by some bitter astringency in the finish. Minor fruity esters linger on the palate such as blood orange and peach. Rides along on a tasty biscuit-malt body. A solid IPA from Sawdust City.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
hazy orange/red colour. Hoppy grapefruit aroma with other citrus notes. not much in terms of malts/cereal. Fresh hoppy, citrus flavour profile with a medium body and pine cone finish. One dimensional but still a tasty brew.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 mL bottle. Pours clear amber with a foamy white head. Caramel toffee nose with earthy pine, citrus zest, honey and wax. Mildly sweet and medium carbonation, sticky mouth feel and a long bitter finish. A well balanced IPA, much beter on cask, but what isn’t?
