4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a golden amber with a medium off-white head, that unfortunately doesn’t last long. Aroma is citrus and resinous hops and sweet malt. Taste is big on the bitter grapefruit and pine resin with a good sweet buiscuit malt to round it out. Body is medium with average carbonation.

Really nice flavour, not overly hoppy, good colour and nice aroma, definitely worth a try.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
650ml bottle. Pours a very hazy orange colour. Fairly thick white head that settles down nicely, leaving moderate lacing as drunk.
Aromas are very piney hops, with hints of caramel.
Tastes of citrus, pine, pineapple, and toffee.
Overall, this IPA could go toe-to-toe with many of my favourites in the category, and might upset a few.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Generally not a huge fan of strong hop-forward IPA's. But this has good complexity on nose and hops are upfront but well integrated. This could be great vector to explore more IPA's for those like myself. Nicely done.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
650mL from my lickbow. Pours a clear copper with a small beige head and the aroma is full of nice piney hops and a malt backbone playing a supportive role. The flavour is where this one shines and you get a nice wave of juicy citrus hops followed by some bitter astringency in the finish. Minor fruity esters linger on the palate such as blood orange and peach. Rides along on a tasty biscuit-malt body. A solid IPA from Sawdust City.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
650mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy dark orange with a large white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops, a little citrus zest, and some crisp crackery malt - loads of pine though. Flavour brings out a huge wallop of intensely bitter piney hops - oh man is this piney and hoppy. Super dry, fairly astringent, but super drinkable. Excellent IPA.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear pale amber with an enthusiastic three fingers of fluffy white head diminishing gradually to a thin cap and moderate spotty lacing. Nose is bright and big, pine resin and citrus, with some pineapple and sweet caramel malt. Taste follows suit, with brief caramel sweetness followed immediately by tropical fruit and pine resin bitterness. Medium body, with moderate sustained carbonation and a lingering sticky bitterness on a dry finish.
Well, that’s a whole lot of fun! Big, bright hops on the nose, followed up by a whole lotta hops on the tongue. The flavour is nicely balanced between sweet malt and big hops at the outset, with the hops then growing by leaps and bounds. The sharpness gets a little aggressive on the finish, but not to the point of being unbalanced.
