A murky amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel, alcohol and fresh cut grass. In mouth, a grassy piney malt, wet grass, so-so. Cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest Sept 29 2012.

Cask at Vankleek Hill’s/Beau’s Oktoberfest. Opaque, orangeish color, reminiscent of "real", traditional apple juice. Smells sweet and fruity, maybe like apples. Taste is dry, earthy. Cereals. Some herbal and earthy bitterness. Lingering bitter taste. Medium bodied. Weak carbonation. Strange, unbalanced beer.

cask days @ beau’s oktoberfest, 2012. cloudy grey-light brown, sediments, without a head. toasted, roasted cereals, spices, chocolate, cloying, garbagy, peppery, grassy, piney. average to soft carbonation, medium body, cloying and awkward finish. honestly: hated it.
