can. pours hazy light golden with a frothy towering white head offering good retention and lacing. pineapple fruits - their flavour, aroma and acidity; other fresh and vibrant tropical fruits, bright spicy and citrusy amarillo, tart-ish peppery wheat, coconut, alcohol - relatively well hidden for its 9%; very fruity yeast - with tons of juicy bubblegum esters, no banana split per se. bright belgian carbonation, medium body - oily; warming tropical-citrusy finish. drinks like a tart fragrant strong belgian hoppy ale. abusively tropical - solid juicy stuff.

Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sticky white head. Lots of carbonation. Pine hops on the nose with a bit of citrus as well. Orange, peaches and some spicyness. Taste is a bit alcooly at first then you get some tangyness. Not a ton of hoppyness. Good body. Not bad.

It pours gold; the head is off white and foamy. The aroma of notes: mango, pine, and alcohol. The taste is medium bitter; there are notes of: grapefruit, cracker, charcoal, and yeast. The palate is medium-heavy bodied, and has light carbonation; the finish is long. Overall, it’s got a great malt backbone.

Can, shared at game night. Hazy orange-tinted gold, with with a frothy white head. Grass and gooseberry aroma and flavour, spicy and lemony undertones. Very enjoyable.

This beer has typical Belgian yeast character mixed with standard IPA. Not that great of a combination. Too citrusy, doesn’t go well with heavy hops. One good thing about it is that you cant really taste alcohol considering how high it is, which is a positive. Got better as it got warmer.

Smell: spicy yeast, acidic citrus, slight funk & cardboard. Taste: prickly & highly carbonated, lemon rind. Finish: very acidic, bitter citrus rind. Disappointed with this one. Not enough "Belgian" character. Can says 35 IBU but feels more bitter than that! (canned 03/30/16, tasted 05/29/16)

Can - Citrus peel and wheat. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. A bit harsh and boozy with some bitte citrus peel. Seems a bit out of balance.

Belgian golden ale meets new hop IPA that is deceivingly drinkable (and therefore dangerous in a good way) for a 9.0 abv beer (as stated on the packaging). Very nice.... The princess is very enticing :-)

Can from LCBO. 9.0%. Canned 2 months ago. Pours almost clear, pale golden with big off-white head. The aroma is distinctly Belgian, a bit pissy, yeasty-spicy, citric. No surprise they felt the urge to age it in Chardonnay barrels! Tastes as nice, nothing to add to notes on the aroma. Lovely. Soft and smooth, even kinda slick on the palate with extremely thin and barely noticeable carbonation, body lightish medium. Goood stuff.

P.S. - I think categorising this under IIPA is a bit misleading, it should be BSA instead which also covers aggressively hopped Belgian-style brews.
