Tap at barhop. Pours light gold with a white head. Lemon, cream soda aroma - odd but good. Medium body, medium carbonation. Booze is very well hidden - it's there, but in no way harsh. Lemon rind, pine, cream soda, light candy, grapefruit... Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from LCBO. Pours slightly hazy and golden with a thin white head. Very nice aroma of grapefruit, dragon fruit, and other tropical fruit candy. Taste has tropical fruits, sweet malt, a hint of spice (but not enough that Iíd call it a Belgian), pine, and a bit too much alcohol. Very nice smooth medium body. Pretty solid stuff.

650 mL bottle. Pours a hazed golden yellow with a semi-permanent head of eggshell foam. Leaves nice lacing. Some passion fruit and guava notes, gentle citrus and a little old school spice, grainy malt, Candi Sugar and fruity Belgian yeast. Dry for the style, only mild residual sweetness and similar levels of bittering hops. Yeasty tang to the finish. Moderate plus body, full carbonation and a hearty mouth feel that lingers nice and sticky. Nice.

Creamy long lasting head. Great flavour with a very sharp hoppy taste. More bitter than expected but still very enjoyable.

The hops are just great in this one. The yeast is minimal and the malt body plays a respectable supporting role. Hop aroma and flavour dominate, and the only drawback is the boozy character that shows up like a sad regular at your local watering hole. Also thereís pretty much no Belgian character but I hardly hold that against them. Would be superb on tap or cask, I imagine.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy very pale gold with a small white head that quickly fades to a film. Nose has lots of floral hops with mild citrus notes. A good dose of bready yeast but also an underlying bit of cat pee. A light sweet start with some moderate bitter citrus and pine in the middle that gets overpowered by a very disturbing metallic skunkiness. Iím hoping that this is an off bottle. I expect to revisit this at some point as what Iím drinking now doesnít correspond to the other reviews. Mouth is medium and very chewy. Not going to finish this one...

On tap at Beer Brothers Bistro (Ottawa, ON). Hazy golden body with a lasting white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with citrusy and some yeasty hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries melon, grapefruit, and some woody notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Well done.

On tap at The Only. Odd to be called a Imperial/Double IPA you would think it would be a big hoppy wallop, but not this beer. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Smells of citrus, orange and wheat. Taste of hops bitterness, citrus, slight apricots and vanilla. Bitterness lingers on the palate a bit, but overall very drinkable.

on tap in Newmarket. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a soft white head. The aromas in this brew are hops, floral and some citrus with a real pungent cat pee like quality. On the palate I donít find the brew as sweet as others have stated, there is some yeast but nothing that is concerning. It sports a pungent and leafy hoppy flavour profile. I rather enjoy this brew but it isnít over the top hoppy and is rather balanced. Pretty good stuff.
