Lots of sugars in the taste with spicey tones. Well balanced. Good triple beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA

Pours a yellow/golden color witha small white head. Aroma is very banana fruity and spicy with hints of coriander. Taste has a nice wheaty quality to it, heavily carbonated which really amplified the coriander. Fizzy but very enjoyable. SG (456), San Clemente, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Apr 22, 2004 Nice golden hue and almost no head. One bottle had decent lacing while the other had no lacing at all. Wow, a great grassy nose with banana and spicy notes. The flavor is banana, bubble gum, and buttery sweet. A decent alcohol aftertaste lingers on the end. Very nice. A slightly higher ABV and a drier finish would make this my favorite tripel. Complex in its subtlety. I prefer this to chimay white or tripel karmeliet anyday. sloth (1662), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA

Fruity nose with hints of ripe melon.. Medium body, creamy textured and a fine carbonation. Full fruity flavor with delicate black pepper notes and a faint spiceyness, hops? Finish is semi sweet. Nuthin fancy just a good Triple brewed for a damn good cause. Thanks to SDbruboy for a chance at this one, you rock bro! Volgon (2488), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2004 This beer was offered to me by the great beerguy101..go mitch! It pours a very clear goldeny yellow color with a considerable amount of carbonation but very little head..just a few soapy islands clinging to the side of my glass. Very typical belgian yeastiness in the nose with hints of alcohol and oranges. I found this to be a very smooth and nice belgian brew. Wonderful yeast strains went into this. Very nice banana and souring hop qualities in the finish. Hints of orange and call me nuts, honey in the finish...very sweet malts. Not bad at all... vector (163), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2004 A good cause, but a medicre beer. I *really* like the stone beers I've had because they are so outlandish in their liberal use of hops and other flavorings. Sawyers is just boring when put up against stone IPA or arrogant bastard. This beer pours a clear garnet with almost no head. Mild hop flavor, sweet malts. Dry mouthfeel. Bannana notes on the aroma. Could use about 10x more ingredients. I'm hard on this beer because I like other Stone beers so much.
