3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dmac (2509) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - APR 15, 2010
22 oz bomber thanks to padrefan98, thanks Jon. Poured a clear golden/orange with a small white head that quickly faded. Aroma of banana, bubble gum, a touch of clove, raw dough and lots of tropical fruits. The flavor, altough nice, wasn’t quite as good as the aroma but not to the extent that it needed a lower rating, notes of grains, yeast, tropical fruits and flowers. The body was very lively with lots of bubbly carbonation,a medium mouthfeel and a dry finish. Great beer just wondering why Stone doesn’t put this one into distribution??
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Cirrhosis (887) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 12, 2010
Dark brown to bright cloudy copper, nice crown on top. So much sweet wheat and zesty yeast in the aroma. Lots of ginger also comes through in the nose this is a very warm and comforting smell. Reminds me of Christmas pudding with the spices and warmth. Very smooth lots of wheat malt more ginger in the flavor lots of spice and perfect sweetness. Love this brew it be tasty.

Bottle shared by OldStyleCubFan. Golden pour with decent white head. Peppery, dry-smelling hops on the noses with notes of citrus and apple. Pretty average tripel overall.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JCB (2918) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAR 28, 2010
Bomber shared by OSCF - thanks, Todd! Kind of an oily looking golden pour, with a medium head. Faded hops in the nose along with the sort of tripel-by-the-numbers notes of apple and pepper. Mouthfeel is medium, not too complex at all. Tastes like shortbread a bit, along with some fruit and spice in the finish, jumbled up and not too satisfying.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Terminus (2538) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - MAR 23, 2010
22oz bomber purchased at Stone. Pours lite orange with a small fizzy white head around the rim of the glass. nose is fruity, sweet, grainy, spice (ginger, cinnamon, clove). flavors are similar but exhibit the wet grains pretty highly-long spicy finish. lots of sweet cinammon as well. a Trippel? i see this is a a slighly strong belgian ale. palate is a bit too soft for a tripel as well as the ABV being low. palate seems a bit thin and doesnt realy do much here. At least the carbonation is lower than most belgian stone offerings. the finish is long-sweet grains and lite clove notes.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 GT2 (3434) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 23, 2010
22oz bomber thanks to OldStyleCubFan! I’ve never even heard of this beer. So what’s the story with it? Anyway, pours blonde with a decent white head. Not much retention or lace. Aroma is laden with cloves, overripe bananas. Taste is very sweet, loads of candi sugar, bananas, red apples. Dry, powdery, messy finish.

Bottle shared by Badbeer. The beer pours a blonde color with a medium head. The aroma is fruity with some berries some currant and some camomile, a really interesting mix. The flavor is very fruity and spicy, more of that camomile comes through. Tasty
