Jan 28, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear golden-orange color with a thin off-white head that faded to a ring. Spicy (pepper, clove) aroma with some moderate fruitiness (tangerine, orange rind, clementines), and some light floral hops, but there is a lack of traditional yeastiness present. Smooth, lightly sweet entry leads into a citric fruit explosion with some orange, tangerine, and light banana with some spicy undertones of pepper and clove that finishes with a lightly dry, floral hoppiness. Moderate carbonation, light bite on the palate. Overall, decent for an American tripel, but it seems to lack the distinct yeastiness in both the aroma and flavor that are typical of the style.

Jan 28, 2009 22oz bottle. Dark golden in color. Sweet yeast aroma, typical triple, at least for me. Sweet, banana flavor, similar to the aroma as well. Not a fav style, but good though.

Jan 19, 2009 Bomber, purchased at the brewery. Slightly hazy orange-tinted gold. Spicy banana and yeast aroma. Slightly estery, moderately sweet palate with caramelized banana and spices as the dominant flavours. Sweet but drinkable, and faithful to the style. Another well-crafted Stone brew.

Jan 18, 2009 Bottle, thanks to alexanderj. Blond amber pour, clearish with a little white head. Aroma is banana, bubblegum, chalk, and some spices. Flavor is the same, bubblegum is dominant and somewhat chewy seeming. Pretty sweet beer.

Jan 15, 2009 Pours a copper caramel with cream-colored head. Pours a spicy caramel with brown sugar. A combination of banana and clove with bubble gum. Palate is creamy that lightens the levels of carbonation.

Jan 15, 2009 Thanks Walt for sending me this beer. Pours a hazy gold with an almost non existent head. Aroma of coriander, banana, and bubblegum. Sweet flavor, some fruit. A well done triple. I really like the bottle and everything this beer stands for though. I’m glad Stone is doing some for charity like this.
