StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England Jul 23, 2007 A mid orange red coloured still cider.A light appley nose, slightly sour and vinergary. A tart appley taste, although a prominent, sweetish russet flavour comes through to make a drinkable, thirst-quenching cider. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds Summer Beer Festival 2007, Heacham, Norfolk).

Amber golden coloured with a very fruity aroma. Tangy slightly dry lasting finish. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jul 19, 2004 @Dartford BF. Sweetish, applesskins, tart/sour finish, solid stuff. Clean flavour. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Jul 15, 2004 #27 at Dartford Beer Festival, with SilkTork and Duff. Odd rosy orange colour. Like the other Saxon ciders I tried, this had a quite authentic farmyard/manure aroma, but was much softer on the palate. This one was more fruity and a bit sweeter than the others. It seemed less well balanced and a bit thin.
