A lively golden cloudy liquid with an ample head. Considerable yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Very effervescent with some clove in the fairly faint aroma. Some fine particulate feel.

This German Hefeweizen pours a slightly cloudy orange gold color from a 50cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, long lasting with excellent retention. The aroma is grassy and fruity with some banana and clove. A medium bodied Hefeweizen. The malts are fruit and sweet. A touch of grain and some banana and clove flavor. The hops are mild and earthy. Nice balance. Excellent carbonation, with lots of small effervescent bubbles. Light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

pours hazy amber with a huge off-white head (my glass overflowed twice, mostly because i can’t remember what happens from second to second unless i write it down...and it’s still dicey even then), disipates rather quickly to a thin kinda lacy head. aroma slightly sweet, mildly spicy, peppery. flavor of mostly bananas. slightly oily mouth feel, medium bodied. inoffensive, butnothing exciting.

i think <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=14352> cornfield provided this sample

Dark yellow-hefe colored, little white head. Bananic-weisse aroma with mild grainy sourness, some unclean glue note here too. Crispy palate, medium carbonated. Glue also in flavor, aftertaste has some banana and yeast. Had better weisses.

Cloudy golden amber with decent white head / Malt nose / Light body with weak finish / Flavors of fresh malt with a hint of banana and a slightly rancid finish / Mediocre.
