Mild nothingness with an offensive aftertaste. Worse than the cheap nationally known affairs. Hangover material. Avoid!

Whoa!! The Scraper!! Haven’t drank this since college (circa 1992). Not in the same leaugue as Blatz, but I would drink this stuff, if I could find it anwhere. The folks that used to partake of Schaefer’s with me called it "The Scraper". Presumably, because in the morning you would have to scrape the back side of your legs, from all the Schaefer residue there! The beer snobs may not like it. But I do. And I like beer!

(bottle - 40 oz) Straw yellow with a ton of white foam. Smells like a tongue depresser mixed with grains and hops. Taste is very dry and wooden. Bitter finish. Thank god for my Grandpa Joe. He helped contribute to the demise of this big one.

Another bad beer, but what do you expect form $1 ’trash beer’ night? A metallic taste with not much else there really.

Chugged at a college reunion from the keg. Watery easy drinking the way college beer should be. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Light gold colour. Fairly fresh grainy aroma with light fusel notes. Lots of fusel notes on the palate, though. Otherwise a little grainy, watery. Fairly plain, inoffensive, sweetish corn lager. Fun to try, if for no other reason than to say I did. Thaks, Slob!

12 oz. can. "Schaefer, is the, one beer to have, when you’re having more than one..." Sadly, another old-time local brewer down the drain. The beer brewed today has no particular aroma, is star yellow with a fizzy white head, and tastes like corn cereal.

Pours a light yellow color. Aromas of corn, grain, hops. Flavor is crisp, with a little substance. But thats about it.
