Schaefer truly is the "One beer to have when you’re havin’ more than one". Cheap 12 packs, nice color & head, tastes a bit metallic w/a stinging bite. Good to split a 12 pack w/Dad...

Best of the Beasts in a recent taste test of 12 macro swills. Actually some flavor, a little color among a bad lot.

One of my favorites. Schaefer is the one beer to have when you’re having more than one. Schaefer pleasure doesn’t fade even when your thirst is done. The most rewarding flavor in this mans world for people who are having fun.

A beautiful deep straw to light gold in color with a thick white head of fine bubbles. Very mild almost stale hop and slight corn aroma. Refreshingly clean lager with slight traces of sweet corn yet a mild bitterness.Smooth and easy on the palate.

Eh, I suppose this is one of the better macros, but still, I’ll pass and consume more flavorful calories. It is sweet and weak.

16 ounce can: Fizzy yellow, watery, bland. However, in a drink-out-of-the-can comparison vs. PBR it is the winner. Less carbonation and less of a taste give it an edge for those who like to drink beer, but don’t like beer.

Well, it’s not that great. I did like it a lot better than Old Mil, but it is not a good beer.

Can, bottle. This beer is just plain shitty. It tastes almost burnt every time that I have it. Maybe it’s just the workers ashes from their cigarettes falling into the wort and containers. Nothing to talk about. Bland, shitty and tastes like ashes.
