my favorite old school cheap beer. jasonp (1509), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA

Tastes like it was made with rice and corn but ends up tasting not all that bad. I used to drink a lot of this playing my company softball games in the summer. Just had one again for old times sake. Like I said, I've tasted worse. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Here end’th the history lesson on mass produced larger for this day. Thin pale golden stuff. Side by side I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between this and the Lone Star. There’s probably a case for consolidating the beer ratings just as the brewing operations have been done SAB Miller. Hoss (602), Florida, USA

I can remember sneaking one out of my friends frig and taking it out in the woods to "drink beer". Sadly that memory is much better than mainstream brew. SledgeJr (2960), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

This was actually the brewery's slogan at one time. I don't ever remember drinking less than a six of Schaef at any give time. I think your liver ADH metabolizes this faster than you can drink it. Either that, or it has no alcohol at all. A great pre-party beer for the college crowd. willblake (2174), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

I've never poured this out of the can to look at it. I've never swished it or smelled it. This is my favorite beer to drink tailgating before a football game because I can drink 10-12 in about two hours. I'm pretty sure it has no alcohol despite being labeled here as 4.4%. The taste reminds me of the water that canned corn is packed in, along with the metallic sting. I don't think it's carbonated either, which is why it goes down so damn fast. When I want to drink a gallon of beer fast, this is one of my very top choices. I like corn. Cheers.
