cb (809), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA Nov 19, 2002 Thick creamy head. Goes down smoothly, I didn’t want to think about the nuances of this beer and didn’t have to. A good, cheap party beer grant (792), Long Beach, CA/Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 18, 2002 At first smell, it seems like it might be interesting. Alas, it is sweet and syrupy--kinda like malt liquor w/o the alcohol. Doughy taste. AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA Nov 17, 2002 If all you’ve got is the change from the couch cushions... dirtyc (173), Erie, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 14, 2002 Cheap beer, good for getting several kegs of this, but still gets ya drunk PBOYNY (316), Westchester, New York, USA Oct 29, 2002 SCHAEFER BEER, THE BEER OF TWISTED AND PENNILESS DREGS...THIS BEER IS LIKE BAD WATER, WEAK, ALMOST TASTELESS AND VERY BORING, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, AS I ONLY DRANK IT IN CANS. STILL BETTER THAN BUD, BUT WHAT ISNT? Kaya161 (1129), San Diego, California, USA Oct 12, 2002 GABF 2002: Well, it’s better than most in the category. VENOM (941), Connecticut, USA Oct 10, 2002 Clear yellowed straw. Tight, white foam. Light carbonation. Faint malt aroma with a touch of hop. Fairly clean smelling. Tingly, paper blandness with a dollop of sweetness. Sharp mouthfeel. Medium light body. Lemony bitterness. Soda syrup sweetness, although not oppressive. Finishes bland and a little rice-starchy but palatable. It’s like watching porn through the scrambled signal, what little you get out of it ain’t worth the migraine you suffer from afterwards.
