For the price it cant be beat! Of course ive have better beers, but I wont frown upon this one. This is the kina beer that sits in your fridge and is shat upon by passer byers looking for that Coors light or that so hard to reach Budweiser. But hey why not, Im up for a change, and Im not a two can slave. So there you have it. I know a good hard working American sweaty brew when I taste one, and theres probably guys brewing this stuff in Milwaukee, WI right now sweating all over the brewing vats! Cheers! Oh yea, in the morning it takes a little jolt to remember if you took your friends up on that bet? You know… the bet where you tried to fuck the toilet bowl at Reedys Tavern and upon doing so you broke into Timeout Arcade and stole the Galaga video game system.

Just don't drink any before bed time. Ringo (959), Loveland, Colorado, USA

An ice cold mug of draft costs only eighty cents. The ice cold Schaefer draft went down easily, the flavor was more of a watered down beer. I think the recipe has been changed in the past ten years. I swore this beer had more flavor to it. Does anybody remember the Schaefer ’stay cool party bottles’ that were glass wrapped in styrofoam just like the soda bottles were in the late 80’s? mkrill99 (28), USA

Excellent for what it is, and for the price. frankbooth (6), Lynn, Massachusetts, USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2002 Damn fine out of the 40 ounce bottle I had. A real easy drink. I’m sure I will return to this beer again and again, maybe too often. Cheap and tasty. Try it if you can find it.
