I’ve experienced this beer over its transient history rooted in the real brooklyn brew (albeit the one in the 70’s). This latest version is not bad, not as hoppy and sharp as the Strohs days, but less distinct as the NY days. Drinkable, light kind of bland, and still cheap. I’ve tasted much, much worse.

This is what my brewer friends call a malt soup. It’s usually cheap, but you can find something better you can afford. EKGoldings (447), Radford, Virginia, USA

I also remember it had clear adjunct flavor, but was a better beer than most BMC products. This was before it went to Stroh’s-Pabst-Miller. I haven’t had it recently, I imagine it will be as bad as normal Miller products. beerbomb (172), New Jersey, USA

Aroma is light corn and corn syrup. Flavor is about the same. No cloying aftertaste like some cheapo macros. Could be worse for the price. BelgianBeerGal (1285), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

This is in the top 5 for worst beers I have ever tasted. Absolutely no redeeming value exceot possibly recycling the packaging. unclemattie (2402), Georgia, USA
