Not only was it in a childs 11.2 oz can, it was made in Puerto Rico and was "not less than 4% but no more than 6%%...two tidbits that I was able to gleen from the label...Pours transparent yellow with a minimal head and almost no lacing, aroma is grain, flavour is light corn malt and a touch of grain...not bad, but I probably wouldn’t drink one unless it’s 98 degrees outside and the hose isn’t hooked up.. 00cobraR (1103), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Strong cereal aroma with some sweet notes and a hint of cut hay. Light to medium bodied. Crisp with a dry, hoppy finish. I'm a bit suspect of some of these ratings. Anyone who's really tasted Schaefer knows that it is not the least bit watery or light on flavor. I have a feeling a lot of them are from people half remembering the beer from the one time they drank it 10 years ago. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 4, 2003 The king of corn beers, folks. Step right up and get yourself a can of the best tasting corn beer you'll ever drink. Actually, if
you're looking for a true corn beer, and who isn't ;>) ? You can't do much better ( or worse, depending on how you look at it )
than good old Schaefer. Pours out looking just like a ear of corn on the cob, a sickly, fake yellow color to it. Actually tastes
like buttered corn on the cob too. Has plenty of diacetyl for that rich, buttery taste. The hops actually aren't so bad in this beer.
Must be around 12 IBU's in there. Believe it or not, it is a balanced beer, bringing both taste and bitterness together. I used to
drink a case of this stuff every weekend, but not any more. My body just doesn't heal from hangovers that well these days.
