foduck (300), Denton, Texas, USA Aug 29, 2004 Normal Milwaukee lager. Just like all the rest. I’ll take Schlitz instead.
ditmier (190), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 4, 2008 2008 Can in St Barths - The irony here is what attracted me to this 11.2 oz can of "America’s Oldest Beer." Not only was it in a childs 11.2 oz can, it was made in Puerto Rico and was "not less than 4% but no more than 6%%...two tidbits that I was able to gleen from the label...Pours transparent yellow with a minimal head and almost no lacing, aroma is grain, flavour is light corn malt and a touch of grain...not bad, but I probably wouldn’t drink one unless it’s 98 degrees outside and the hose isn’t hooked up.. NyBob85 (5), Flushing, New York, USA does not count Sep 1, 2008 A solid cheap beer. Not a showstopper by any means but pleasant and refreshing when iced down. Much better than other beers of comparable price. Kaizen666 (16), , New York, USA Aug 29, 2008 ’The beer to have when you’re having more than one.’ Tastes of corn and unwashed underwear. I assume it’s gold. I mean, It’s Schaefer’s, what am I going to pour it out of the can for? A few years back a buddy and myself ran through a 24 pack he got for about $6 as we watched the MLB playoffs all day and night. We dubbed it ’Bad Beer Night’ and bought the worst things we could drink for shits and giggles. As we drank on it became laborious, but we chugged on, laughing at the fact that we were tearing though a 24 of Schaefer. Not for the faint of heart. BBorsutionns (41), Nashua, New Hampshire, USA Jul 29, 2008 Not good or bad taste, bland corn flavor. It was very cheap but I’m not entirely sure it was worth it. chrissy (84), Connecticut, USA Jul 26, 2008 Can: Overly carbonated. Corny aroma and flavor. For what it is, this is a geat cheap beer.
