The fact that you can get 30 Schaefers for 10 bucks is the only redeeming quality. Well, the price and the fact that it will get you drunk. The rugby team at my college drinks much of this.

12oz can (Old Notes)-Pours a clear golden with a decent white head. Aroma of grains and slight malt and hops. Taste very similar. This light bodied brew is not bad as it filled the void in High School as it was the cheapest beer the 7-11 carried.

The Father-In-Law had this one sitting about so i decided to try it. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright yellow color with an enormous creamy-soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet, corny and had faint notes of citrus and Windex. The flavor was corny with a dryish bite and a hint of graininess though was very mild and watery. Short corny and grainy finish. Light and watery body. Bland and inoffensive.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Honestly, this is the second worst beer on earth. First place is the light version. We use to grab this in college for about 30 cents per can (and I was in college in the 2000ís, not the 60ís). Light gold color with some fluffy head I guess. Aroma is filthy corn and wheat, dirty must, and vomit. The flavor follows almost perfectly and this is really tough to get down during a game of beer pong. Avoid at all costs.

(Can). Pale straw complexion with dissipating fluffy head. Actually leaves lacing on the glass. The flavor is mild and slightly malty. Best served ice cold. There are many worse pale lagers at twice this bargain price. This is the favored beer of my father-in-law. Iíve had this for years during summertime cookouts and with many memories. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: APR 8, 2013 I should be mowing the lawn! Straight from the can because anything else would be inappropriate. Grass, straw, and water. Thereís hops in here somewhere (I think). Sweet, generic, the lawnmower beer.

Pours a clear yellow/gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma of soap and straw. Flavor has straw and a bit of grass...can taste alcohol. Mouthfeel is full and the finish is dry and tastes of bitter alcohol.

12oz can at Black Jack above Pearl Dive. $2 can. Low carbonation straw pour. Weak head. No formation really and no retention. Very poor. No lace. Nose is dirty freezer, sweet cherry juice box, horse breath. Taste is tangy, sharp, sweeter. More body and less carboardy compared to the Strohs. Headache inducing though. Small DMS and diacetyl come through.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A wicked bonus from Sloth from when he sent me the Marylandís Best.
Pours a pale golden color with the most fluffy, white, well retained, and respectable heads Iíve ever seen on a pale lager.
The aroma is sort of generically "beery" in the "its 1987 and my parents are drinking beer" kind of way. Some bread doughiness, a little grain, some alcohol, far from offensive... but it doesnít smell great or anything.
The flavor is a little cidery, some breakfast cereal in there for sure, a light hop zippiness is present as well. The beer has some noticeable alcohol and corn.
Tastes pretty much exactly as I expected it to, so thatís pretty great.
