Gut rezent, vollmundig, doch erfrischend. Mild würzig-bitterer, leicht karamelsüßer Nachtrunk. - Von vollen, runden Malzaromen bestimmtes, sehr süffiges Märzen. Erinnerte mich sehr an Lübbenauer Babben Dunkel Spezial. Es ist wohl der Verzicht auf Filtration, der auch solchen eher unkomplizierten, malzbetonten Bieren Flair und Fülle verleiht. Empfehlenswert!

Draught @Schalander. Amber cloudy orange with white rocky head. Aromas malts, cooked vegetables, herbs. Palate mild slick oily, carbonation smooth and mouthfull. Taste astrigent, malty. Finish mild, not bitter. Very hand made smell and taste. Overall decent.

Fresh draught, just released. Deep orange with a creamy, rocky head. Light bitterness to medium, bready with noble grain, really intensely flavorful for a Märzen, dry with good hop bite, too. Very full body with some grass-hay and even a hint of fruit (yeast?). Very good, very promising.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange to amber with a thick and off-white head. Aroma is fruity and light grassy. Smooth malty, toasted and light bitter. Lingering toasted malty flavoured, subdued sweetness and light bitterness. Medium dry bittet and lasting malty finish.

07/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured hazy reddish copper body with medium sized head that stood for very long time. Sweet caramel aroma mildly hopped with some herbal stuff, pretty expected for a marzen. Sweetish flavor, carame, toffee and wood malts, but only little bit of herbal hops. Medium to even fuller body with long sweetish finish. Pleasant, but more like a dunkel, too malty misses better hop balance. Anyway, glad we’ve caught it here!

The last of the keg at Schalander. Pours amber in color with a fluffy beige head that leaves plenty of lacing. Smells and tastes predominantly of malt and not much else. Fairly basic.

Draught at the brewpub. Quite lucky that we ran into this, especially considering the ones we missed at some other pubs. Poured a hazy, misty.red colour. Thick, slightly off white head that stuck around for awhile. Light dusty nose, sweet maltiness. The taste is dominated by a nice woody maltiness, slightly orangey and dry. Balanced and tasty but hardly impressive in comparison with some. Still, well worth trying.
