It pours copper with golden highlights; the head is off white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: bubblegum, banana, vanilla, and coriander seeds. The taste is light sweet and lightly bitter; there are notes of: orange zest, cereal, banana, honey, and cracker. The palate is medium bodied with medium carbonation, and a medium finish. Overall, the vanilla nose is unique, but not much else going on.

Würzig hefiger Antrunk, der schnell getreidig wird. Zu starke Karbonisierung, ab dem Mittelteil eher herb als hefig, trocken. Dunkel getreidiger, leider sehr milder Nachhall. 12/10/9/7/9/8

Bottle 500ml (AIH40)
Pinky-amber color, small steady white head, lace. Grainy, papery banana nose which had smell of dishing rug at first. Medium--bodied. Malty, overriped banana, low bitterness. Middle of the pack weizen.

Bottled@AIH40 (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy orangeish amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeish, mild floral notes as well as some nice bananaish and wheaty notes. Flavour is wheat, bananas, some zest, mild spices, sweet malts, toffee and a bit of lactic (non sour though) notes. Mild ryelike notes in the finish. Carbonation is sadly a bit too much on the tonguetickling side of things.

500ml bottle. Hazy, dark copper colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma, hints of banana, apple, roast apple. Taste is spicy yeasty, minimally fruity, dry grainy, minimally tart; fizzy carbonation. Very close to an ordinary Hefeweizen. Imagination could inveigle to assert that one misses the slightly creamy texture typical for the wheat.
