Looks like ’kotikalja’ or Kivipukki. Aroma has ripe bananas, yeasty notes, hints of spices and caramel. Flavour has ripe bananas, fruity notes, yeast, some wheat and caramel. Like Aventinus, but lacks the richness.

500ml bottle. Hazy dark amber colour with huge frothy tan head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, slightly spicy notes. Minimal sourish wheaty and yeasty taste, relatively dry, a bit monotonous. Lacks fruit and richness in aroma.

Ho dato una seconda possibilita a questo birrificio, dopo la delusione (per me) vissuta con la weisse. Ho fatto bene. Birra godibile. Aroma di banana e di olio d’oliva extravergine fatto in casa. Sapore con qualcosa di fruttato (banana matura) con qualcosa di pop corn appena fatti. L’unica pecca è che a tratti risulta un pò acquosa. Comunque, molto buona e molto bevibile.

Bottle 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks a lot. A cloudy amber beer with huge head and good lacing. Nose is fruity on apples and apricots. Aroma is fruity with a great malty cereal body, creamy not astringent, sweet, apple like with dry grapes notes and banana. Superb bready aftertaste, alcohol is well hidden, notes if biscuit and caramel malt, typical malt wheat flavor, very pleasant bock, finish gives a medium hops herbal notes, I could drink this every day.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, many thanks. Cloudy amber color with a frothy white head. Banana, dates, caramel, chocolate in aroma. raisins, maybe prunes. Taste, wheat, milk chocolate, banana, with dry finish. Alcohol is well present. Excellent.

Bananiger Antrunk, der dadurch gedämpft wird, dass keine wirkliche Süße vorhanden ist. Fast bedächtig wartet das Malz um den würzigen Part des Bieres zu starten, verharrt so aber zu lange. So wird das Bier im Abgang zwar malzig, weiter erwartete Noten wie vergorene Fruchtaromen bleiben aber aus, stattdessen schleicht die Hefe weiter herum, gefällt aber durchaus durch das unaufdringliche und dennoch unterstützende Auftreten. Weicher und unauffälliger Weizenbock, der mit seinen 6,5% doch zu mild wirkt. 10/8/9/9/12/9
