3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Deep dark brown black ish pour. Medium to smaller sized, vast creamy beige colored foamy head on top of a black colored beer.
Aroma from the bottle is coffee, marijuana and some liquorice.
Wondering if the aroma from the glass differs. Not really: still that marijuana aroma with some coffee and liquorice, also malt roast, chocolate and spices like pepper, anise and speculaas spices.
Flavours of roast, earth, spices like mint, star anise, coffee, chocolate, herbs, marijuana, bitters, loght grains and yeast, floral and some grass.
Aftertaste is not strong and is a mix of roast, marijuana, grass, chocolate, coffee and bitters.
Low carbo, soft creamy oily mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy light oily texture.
Very strange stout with loads of marijuana in the aroma and flavour. Good roast and bitterness but a bit out of tune.
I would rather have it without spices, I guess.

Bottle from Borresteijn, thanks! Almost black colored. Chocolate, roast, licorice and pepper in the aroma. Sweet, roasty spicy, peppery flavor. The spices are kept in chack, so the balance is OK.

Quite ejoyable. Had chocolate ans spices, clear soft water in the finish. Just lacks a tiny bit more smokiness that is also possesses. But I am not conplaining, this is a fine beer. Bottle from De Schans in Uithoorn.
