Backlog. Young bottle, enjoyed Jan. 2003. Straw/golden colored. White head with small layer retention. Aroma’s: Malty sweet, sweet fruits. Flavor is only lightly sweet. Medium bodied. Like most Schans beers a quality brew, albeit on the sweet side.

Nice sweet subtle tripel that doesn’t feel like a 8,5% beer. Some subtle fruit tones, mostly apple I think and some spice. Nice beer. From De Schans itself.

Beautiful color. Yellow orange, bit red. Head is just a bit of bohem silk. There’s not whole lot of smell. Taste is quite nice. Strong in alcohol which gives kick and sourness to taste, as well as sweetness. Aroma has some malts, but not whole lot of anything else but alcohol. I’d describe that as straight forward rocket fuel. Texture is oily and there is not much carbonation. Finish is long.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy amber beer. Good cream colured head. Smooth palate. Sweetish malt, smooth. A tiny pinch of spice. Nice fresh orange hop with a little pineapple as well. Creamy dry finish with another pinch of spice and some hop bitterness. Interesting tripel, more hoppy than most!

Bottle. [thank you Skortila/caesar]
Pours a wonderful, deep red with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Settles as a creamy, thin film. Lovely fruity aroma, lots of oranges, some peach, light yeast, caramel, some coriander. Highish carbonation, lovely creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious, good malty, biscuity sweetness. Lovely yeasty character, estery, oranges, apples and quite spicy and hoppy. Perhaps the alcohol is just a tad too prominent. Otherwise lovely.
