3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the bottle, shared by JK, pours a clear dark brown brew with a tan quick dissolving head. Aroma is mostly chocolate barley malt, some licorice and coffee. Taste is a bit chewy that is sweet, berry-like character and a good bitter/sweet finish. A good sipping stout.

Bottle, ’t Arendsnest in Amsterdam. After warming up a little a pleasant roast aroma comes up. Roasted malt, licorice and laurel in the flavor. An easy drinker for a stout, but this beer has lots of flavor and character.
