Bottle (purchased at the brewpub). Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with light notes of lemon zest and cat pee. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Not as bad as the Rotbier, but still pretty flimsy/weak, bland, and lacking in character. Drinkable in a pinch, but it simply cannot compete with the plethora of decent lager in the region.

Hazy pale blond color. Nice delicate aroma of cereals and straws. Light mouthfeel, smooth, with simple but pleasant flavor o straws. Easy but drinkable.

Hazy blonde body with a small white head. Malty aroma. Taste is a bit grassy. Sweet, malty finish. Just a normal helles

Golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is fairly dry with a malty edge, and the flavour is quite strongly yeasty with a malty dry feel.

From tap the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight citrusy. Bitter, citrusy, light yeasty and grassy. Bitter and citrusy finish.

Part of the Nurnberg Beer Raid 2011. On tap at the 14.Fränkisches Bierfest in Nurnberg , Germany. Pours hazy gold with an off white head. Aroma is a sweet and floral. Taste is also floral but unbalanced. Palate is also not that great. This beer needs some work to be better.

Tap. Milky yellow, white lace. Salt, light lactic. Mealy start, salty, wheatish finish, salt acid finish.

Light unclear medium yellow colour with a small large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy, citrus - green grass. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration, grassy, straw. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110421]

Frischer, deutlich herber Antrunk mit wenigen, dafür aussagekräftigen und frischen Hopfentönen. Im weiteren Verlauf sehr frisch, der Hopfen und die Herbe bleiben die Hauptaromen vor einem leicht säuerlichen Hintergrund, der damit glänzt, die Säuerlichkeit anzudeuten, nicht aber durchzuführen, das sonst wohl weniger passen würde. 9/10/10/11//11

(draught) pours a hazy pale yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of summer pastures, with lots of barnyard, hay and floral hops. flavour has lots of pale malts in the foreground, with an excessively grainy, floral hoppy bitter finish. medium body and carbonation.
