Bottle poured aggressively into a Steinkrug. Deeply nutty nose with some dark honey and dust. Mildly sweet with a light sourdough acidity, light dusty-yeasty bitterness that lingers. Malty and yeasty enough to taste Franconian, with just enough bitterness to balance. Very drinkable and rather interesting.

Har en smag af kiks, chokolade og karamel. Humlen er fyldig hvilket overrasker.

Tap at Huett’n. Cloudy red-orange-amber color with a fine low head. Biscuity malt nose, caramel, chocolate. Malty, earthy flavor, full and very suffig. Excellent.

shared with Konfuzzi; nose: soapy hops with strawy edges, empty mouthfeel, watery palate, sourish fizziness, a bit of caramel, not much else. Boring.

Bottle at Pauls for the FF 2015 tasting. Pours an amber body with white lacing. Mouthfeel is medium to light with notes of crisp grains, malt, light spice, a touch of fruit and sweet nutty character.

Bottle shared at Max and Andy’s Tasting, 2/28/15
I only seem to have limited notes on this one, unfortunately. Which basically equates to a score and the fact that this is an alright beer. I’ll add more next time if/when I try this one again.

Pours a clear reddish amber with a light tan head. The smell is toasted malt, mild fruit, hint of brown sugar. The taste is toasted malt, some sweetness with a dry biscuity end. Light body with active carbonation. Rather pedestrian.
